The Journey Begins

From Concern to Action

The campaign to “Stop Executing Dogs in Smith County” was born out of a deep concern for the welfare of our canine companions. Spearheaded by Chris Abraham, our movement has grown from a single voice of protest into a community-driven force for change. We are motivated by the belief that every dog deserves a chance at life and humane treatment.

A Pledge for Compassion

Redefining Animal Shelter Practices

Our mission is clear: to halt the unnecessary euthanasia of dogs in Smith County’s animal shelters. We advocate for a better way — improved shelter conditions, adoption-focused programs, and community awareness and involvement. We believe that through education, advocacy, and reform, we can transform the fate of these animals.

Strategies for Change

Advocacy, Awareness, and Action

Our approach is multi-faceted: we raise awareness through our podcast ‘The Kill Barn,’ organize protests and community events, and work closely with local authorities to implement policy changes. We also provide educational resources to foster a deeper understanding of animal welfare issues. Every step we take is aimed towards creating a more compassionate Smith County.
